Rooftops

This is the view from a friend's fifth floor apartment out over the rooftops of the neighboring buildings. What do I notice? A predominance of the color green and an amazing maze of TV antennas and satellite dishes! And, of course, the sea in the background: a constant presence in the Molfettan pysche...

Fifth floor view, not bad! I liked it, " a constant presence in the Molfettan psyche".... I could say the same. I know the sea is there, in my deepest soul, even if I am unaware of it but it's there.

Even in Verona, Valeria? :-)

That green seems so different from many other Italian towns which are so predominantly close to the ocher pallet. And yes, the bevy of antenna festooned rooftops. The birds love those :)

the green is surprising! but it works! perhaps molfetta is jumping on the go green bandwagon!

The colors you're thinking of, Chuck, are typical of northern or central Italy. Here in Apulia we live in Magna Grecia...there are a lot of white buildings, along with pastels.

As for going green, Kimy, Molfetta is one of the top towns in the region for recycling!
