Harbour View

Molfetta's harbour looks pretty much the same in winter as it does in summer. Compare for yourself with the photo in my header (above). But the light, the light is very different.

I love all those colorful little boats! Beautiful photo :)

Ice-cold, white, brilliant — no golden glow. Someone once explained to me why colors are more brilliant when it's cold, but of course I've forgotten it.

I love the little boats bobbing on the water too. That harbor building really is awesome.

Winter colours are always sharper and cooler due to the non interference of summer sun. This is beautiful summer or winter.

This is a very picturesque landscape.
In summer the colours are warmer, everywhere I think.

Seeing little boats in a harbour like this makes me think of holidays in the sun. Only 6 months to go!! :(

Lovely scene. I enjoyed browsing your site. Nice stories to go with the pictures. I just joined CDP, so you're welcome to visit and comment if you like.
