Cats

How is it that cats are always able to look so dignified, now matter how humble their circumstances may be?

They know something we don't. Someone will come through that door and feed them. Don't you wish that someone would feed you on demand?

Thank you for being such a faithful follower, Saretta.

These would go very well on my cat blog. I love the way there are cats everywhere you go in Italy.

Very nice cats, the black one is a legacy of yesterday post?

Lakeviewer - I do wish someone would feed me! I get tired of feeding everyone else all the time!

Ann - Italians don't love pets as much as people from some other nations, but they are always willing to leave leftovers out for them.

Poet - well, this is just down the street from the unmentionable building! But, I'd be in big trouble if black cats really brought bad luck...my black cat had kittens and 4 of them are all black!

Mark Twain once said, "Combine a cat with a man, good for the man, bad for the cat."

There's something about cats in a village or small town. We somehow share their experience of being 'at home' - yet they look at us and we feel we are invading their territory. I love the photo.
