Poet - well, this is just down the street from the unmentionable building! But, I'd be in big trouble if black cats really brought bad luck...my black cat had kittens and 4 of them are all black!
There's something about cats in a village or small town. We somehow share their experience of being 'at home' - yet they look at us and we feel we are invading their territory. I love the photo.
