Would you call it Salmon?

A pretty apartment building in the piazza on Via Sant'Angelo. I love the color of the facade. Notice the typically Molfettan *green* shutters...you can't escape them in the town center!

wow, the colors are intense - the sky, the green, the stucco.

The sun in Italy is so particular. I love your header photo, btw. So pretty!

Now that you pointed out the green shutters, I notice that the white building to its left also has them. Is it prescribed by the community?

I like the color combination of this apartment building too. And those little balconies are just too cute!

I'm not sure about the green shutters, I think it may just be tradition. You don't *have* to have them.

I think it's true salmon. What I find interesting about the shutters on the upper floor is that they look like a different green than the shutters on the lower floor.
All the details are wonderful.

It's funny but in the UK this would look hideous, here its sweet. Salmon Pink, I think.

While visiting Molfetta, the green shutters stood out. My guess is a local company makes them this way and they became popular, thus the norm. They are everywhere through Molfetta.

It's true, the green shutters are very characteristic of Molfetta. When I first moved here I found them hideous...now I hardly notice them! I think the difference in green is due to the bottom ones being older than the upper ones. Different paint batch...or fading?

Whatever you want to call it, it stands out from the neighbors - and perhaps that was the intent.
