Behind the Red Door

What lies behind the red door? We may never know...and it's probably nothing all that interesting anyway. What does interest me is why someone would want to paint the door to this tiny little building in the middle of nowhere out in the countryside *so* red? A burst of creativity? A rebel streak? A good deal on red paint, perhaps?

Oh, but it looks so sharp with the glorious blue sky, and the green and tan of the earth! Great picture, Saretta. I can imagine it leads down to a subterranean bunker, vast and fitted out like a palace. 8^)

It is interesting, how people who like to take photos, perceive those colours "in the middle of nowhere"....The colours have intense influence on our lives....I use them a lot against bad/sad mood..

If there was only a table to eat at out front.I could see people coming through the red doors with big trays of food.

LOL, now you've got me curious too! If you knock, do you think someone will answer the door? They seem to expect visitors anyway — why have benches otherwise? ;D

That's interesting. Red is a welcoming color. Perhaps whatever is inside has been expecting you...

That is curious, =) that red door does lead to a bunch of questions. I hope the interior doesn't disappoint.
