The Monday evening performance in the Ti Fiabo e Ti Racconto Children's Film Festival was "Mignolina," better known as "Thumbelina" in English. It was performed by the Drammatico Vegetale Theatre Company of Ravenna.
This photo is not my creation. It was donated because, woe is me, my camera is on the blink. I need to take it in to the camera shop for repairs. It is not a great camera anyway, but at least it worked...

I think this takes some real skill and eye-hand coordination!
Nothing worse than a sick camera.
Very artful shot - the explanation took off some of the tense feeling - Thumbelina's story is very sad and scary - but with beautiful happy ending! I wish I knew how the prince of elfs looked like in the play!
The prince looked a lot like Thumbelina actually... :-)
Sorry for your camera, you showed us a fine image anyway. I checked the link of Drammatico Vegetale and it is very funny: these people are creative, love their work and enjoy it.
Interesting shot of the puppet. I like the shadows in the picture.
Thanks for your comment on my Blog. Yes, the dog is wearing sunglasses. Not sure if all the time or just for the show.
But this is a wonderful shot and it looks like a wonderful festival.
What a fab, fab photo!
