Molfettan Faces - Anna

Anna participated in yesterday's Bimbinbici bike ride. I like this photo of her because she has all of the items related to the event on her...the Bimbinbici cap, the rose-shaped necklace thingy, the real roses that were distributed to all of the mothers present and the free ice-cream handed out at the end of the ride.

Anna is a stay-at-home mom who used to be a graphic designer until the birth of her first child, when she decided to give up her job and dedicate herself to the care of her family.

She looks very happy, proud and relaxed. I would love to see behind her glasses.

I find it interesting to speculate why someone who appears so together as Anna might bite her fingernails. I guess it is a habit that once started is hard to stop.

Sounds like a wonderful person. Is the Giro going to be anywhere near you? We can only view it on the internet over here. Just not as good as TV. Used to love watching the exploits of "Super Mario" and the other great Italian riders.

I think that you have found a sound 'career' as portraitist. You have always got the story easily and so is for the image.
Very good work, hoping to see more Molfettan faces...

Julie, you have got eagle eyes! I hadn't noticed that she bites her fingernails!

B, I'm sorry but the Giro doesn't come anywhere near this far south. It's all a northern, Alps sort of thing! Molfetta is in the deep, deep south, all flatland here, no challenge for cyclists.

Poet, well, thank you!

I love this photo and story that went with it. It's a reflection of real life in your hometown.

NB: I bite my nails too. I've been doing it since I was 10 when I started taking piano lessons. :-)

Molfettan faces is a great idea, Saretta.
And, this is a very nice pic, indeed very complete: there are bikes too!
I am a SAH mum too so I feel close to Anna!

So you like Chievo! Yeeees, we are REAL supporters, I have t-shirts, winter/spring scarves and I am lucky enough as to often meet some of the players that leave near us!

I really like this shot, posed but very natural, the flowers, especially the icecream.
