Rain, Lovely Rain

It's still raining and that's just fine with me...we need all the rain we can get!

The song below is called "Cade la Pioggia" (The Rain Falls) and is a 2007 hit by Negramaro, a group from the Salento area of the region of Puglia (about an hour's drive south of Molfetta), on the heel of the Italian "boot." They are extremely popular nationwide at the moment.

we are united today in our weather. it is currently raining in lakewood but it's not dissuading the birds from singing - however it is helping bring down the leaves....which only means lots of raking ahead!

how funny word verification is "hearin" as I'm hearing the birds' song

What heavy rain! I thought the UK was the only European country to have downpours!

Well we had a short rain in Birmingham today. Haven't had a drop in weeks. I like your rainy shot and I am open to new tunes. Thanks!

We've had more than our share of rain the last couple days with more promised. Rain is fine, but too much causes flooding and that's a problem. I like Cade la pioggia. Ma non pioggia a cattineli ! E troppo!

Today here the rain has stopped and the weather is variable.

Although I'm sure many roads look identical in many respects. I swear I've been down this road. If the road continued straight, would it run into the ocean? My relatives live down a very similar looking road where they are building a very modern two story home among their olive trees. From the second story, you can see the water.

I enjoyed the video!

Lagrasta - if you turn left at the big tree here you will very quickly be on the SS16 which runs along the sea. This road leads from town past the Villaggio Belgiovine, past the La Pineta restaurant and then at the point shown in the photo turns towards the sea.

That's not the road I was thinking of. Like I said, many roads must appear the same. I Googled SS16 and see exactly where it is.
Thanks for allowing me to bother you with so many questions..
