This is, in my personal opinion, the most beautiful building in Molfetta. It is located on Corso Umberto I and is rather out of place, surrounded by the more typical modern buildings with their green shutters.
It's not easy to get a good shot of it because the street isn't really wide enough to allow you to stand directly across from the building. This is often a problem around here!

the most romantic parts of my town were built by the venetians. now they are used as hotels and they're all found by the sea. i love strolling through the venetian port if hania
I'll bet it's pretty when the leaves are on the trees too, but I'm glad you caught it unobstructed.
Wonderful building! Does anybody live there or is some kind of office/studio?
Beautiful, It has nice detail.
It truly is a majestic old building and you did a fantastic job of capturing it. Well done, Saretta ;)
Kiwi - I would love to see Hania's old town!
Elaine - you're right, there's a better view of the building itself at this time of year.
Poet - both apartments and offices, I believe.
Nobu - I think so too.
Pam - oh gosh, thanks!
You're right, Saretta — it's gorgeous! Even the lamps! To me it looks like it has Moorish influences, especially because of those peaked window arches.
Now that is what you call a building! Its a shame they aren't built like this anymore.
Agree. It's really really wonderful !!!
