Along the Lungomare

The "lungomare" is the street that runs along the seafront from Molfetta's historic center south as far as the city swimming pool. Alongside the street there is a wide sidewalk where people go to stroll, chat with friends, breathe the sea air and admire the beauty of the sea. This is a more popular activity in the summertime, but I find the sea beautiful in all seasons.

p.s. 1 p.m. Molfetta time...it's snowing!!!

Beautiful, Saretta! You live in a spot that's lovely year 'round.

I agree, I like the ocean any time of the year. It was pouring rain this past Sunday. After church we drove to San Clemente and walked on the pier with rain coats and umbrellas. Combined with the wind, it was very crisp and beautiful.

I can see why. Although I too live coastal it just doesn't compare to the colour of your sea.

The seaside is a good place to go in any season. You're lucky living close to it.

Beautiful photo of the sea, with the green waters and pink sky. Nothing like a walk along the beach in the snow!

Hi, I just dropped in from another blog. Where is Molfetta? And is snow so unusual?
