Aerial Views of Molfetta

I don't often get a chance to fly over Molfetta snapping photos on the wing, but a friend of a friend of mine does! And he was kind enough to let me post the aerial shots I'll be showing you over the next few days.

This shot shows the seafront promenade (bottom left), the regional seminary (center left), the historical center (center right) - and here you can really see how it was once an island - and the commercial and tourist harbours (upper right). You can also get a feel for how very flat the land is around here.

Bellisima foto aerea. Grazie. Mai vista la tua bella citta' dall'alto. Il mare sembra meraviglioso. Ciao Saretta!

Oh wow, Saretta. Please thank your friend's friend for us! This is a fantastic view and gives a great sense of what Molfetta's like. And you're right, it's so flat it's amazing. I hope your coastline's well protected and that you don't get many storms!

I would give almost anything to walk along the water's edge and explore in the old town! You can see right down into the water! Cool!
