The first day of every month is Theme Day in the City Daily Photo community and this month's theme is: Night. I really should have just gracefully bowed out of participating this month because my little point and shoot camera is not quite up to the challenge of nighttime photography. But I like the colors of these remains of a sunset over the sea, so I hope you will enjoy the color and try to ignore the grainy quality of the photo! ;-)

Sunset on the coast is always a special treat. I think your photo is lovely!
I agree with Hilda, your photo is nice. Don't worry about the camera...
Yes I am enjoying the sunset, it's so calm!
On the contrary, I think the grain adds to the shot.
Wonderful ocean NIGHT view! Super!
Saretta, I feel exactly the same as you about night photography but I'm so glad you posted this. It's absolutely beautiful. I posted a grainy one on Monte Carlo, with reservations too but am glad we were both brave with graininess. Your photograph makes me realise how it can really work. Yours certainly does. It's fabulous. Gorgeous colours - it transports me right there.
Thanks to all of your for your support of my nighttime photography anxieties! It means a lot to me!
yeah, hand held grainy roolz, ok!

I think its a great photo for the theme, I especially like how the rocks are being lit.
The colors is that picture are absolutely gorgeous!
I still play around with my point and shoot. The grain and the vivid colour give the image a feeling of acrylic painting. Unusual textured look and all from the p&s.
A sunset is truly enchanting!
Beautiful photography!
:-)
Oh my! What a beautiful image! Fantastic choice for the theme!
Thanks for your visit and kind comment!
Awesome, what a fantastic rainbow sky you were able to capture.
