Fish Market, 3

Porticoes run along two sides of the fish market. You can see how wet it is in there. You almost have to swim in to get your fish...

Hilda of My Manila tagged me yesterday (or was it the day before?) to reveal five details about myself and I promised her I would, so here goes:

1. I do not like to eat things that are still alive (I have had this opportunity often...don't ask!)
2. My hair was bright red as a baby.
3. My middle name is Graham (yes, I know, it's a man's name...don't ask!)
4. My first car was a 1966 Ford Mustang (it was used, not new).
5. I once won a t-shirt for my dancing skills (don't ask...)

Now I'm supposed to tag five other people. How about:

Shelagh at Aurora Daily
Fabrizio at Torino Daily Photo
If you've already been tagged, or don't feel like playing, I'll understand. But, otherwise, I'll be curious to read what you write!

Aurgh! I want to ask! And ask, and ask! ;D

Thanks for playing, Saretta! I hope the others do too.

Looks like it's a good idea to wear rubber boots when you go to the fish market!

Oh, I was just being silly with that "don't ask" stuff...ask, if you like!

Love the arches. In Pula's fish market everything was hosed off at the end of the day - which was around 1 pm. Another nice reminder for me.
You were one cool babe with a '66 Mustang. Mine was a Dodge Dart Swinger - in an dark avocado green. So you've got the "don't ask, don't tell" motto too?

Hi! Thanks for your comment today, and for tagging me. I will write about myself on my birthday, February 2nd, but won't pass the tagging on. I hope that's okay!

I adore markets like the one you've shown!!!

Hi Saretta, thanks for the tag.

But unfortunately, I can't participate because I'm deep undercover for the CIA to infiltrate a rogue agency that aimed at dominating the world.

By the way, my code name is Ming, Ming the Merciless.

It's been so long since I've written. From my work, I cannot leave comments due to their firewall, but I check-in every day. I really loved the Pulo pics as it was still closed when I visited. As for the fish market, I was lucky enough to have purchased some fish while visiting, very fresh and wet just as you said.
As for the '66 Mustang... that's awesome. My current daily driver is a 1963 Ford Falcon, kin to the Mustang. It's my way of enjoying my 40 mile daily commute.
Keep up the great work Saretta, I enjoy it so much!

Tash - a Dodge Dart Swinger? Wow! Love it!

Bibi - no problem, I'll be looking forward to reading your answers on the 2nd.

Belgrade - yes, the smell is part of the full-immersion fish market experience!

Fear not, Ming, your secret is safe with me!

Thanks, John!

LaGrasta - glad you are enjoying the blog. A '63 Ford Falcon? Excellent! I just love classic cars!

Uhm... Yes I am one not really into awards and tags. By the way I am happy to read about my nomination and I would like to reveal five details of myself me too:

#1 I am both: left-hand / right-hand. When I use my desktop I use mouse with right hand. When I use notebook I use external mouse with left hand (I am not able vice.versa don't ask why)

#2 Once I met Maria Callas and we talked a couple of hours about her photos a friend was showing her. I will remember those moments for life

#3 When I am stressed I am sleepwalking. Once I closed the entrance door after me. It was 5am, in Winter and I was semi-naked...

#4 My very first camera was a Kodak instamatic. Seeing how photos were come out I concluded that to take photos wasn't my job

#5 I ever, ever envied who had chance to drive a Ford Mustang even if my very absolutely *great* dream is to drive one day a pink Thunderbird (1959).
