Focaccia Rising

I haven't shown you any food for a while. This is a homemade focaccia set out on the balcony to rise in the warm sun. It's not exactly my idea of warm these days, but this balcony is protected from wind and the sun was able to do its part. By the way...it was delicious!

Not Today, Please

The rain has been wonderful for the past two days and more would be even better. But, today we are celebrating my younger son's 9th birthday with a party outside in the yard and I am really hoping for sunny skies. At least from 3 to 6 p.m.!
