Entrance Hall, 3

Here's another entrance hall, this one in a building about 35 years old. It has a stairway that winds around a central elevator, large enough for about two adults only, and only if they are pretty slim and trim!

My favorite detail here is the pattern of tiles on the walls. Almost reminds me of Mondrian...

p.s. I'm running a contest (with prize!) on my Amid The Olive Trees blog. Come play!

Saretta, I really liked your old town festival photos and i love the tile photos. they do look like Mondrian. Can you imagine being the person to actually select and set these tiles. You would be seeing patterns in your sleep. Thanks for your comments on my site. I posted a mare and colt on my site today to start a series on my website from my photography tour. It was quite an interesting trip to the slot canyon and Vermillion Cliffs. Also, if you like travel photos, we have posted action photos from Buenos Aires, Argentina on our travel photo site, www.vivalavoyage.com. Have a good week!

The colors of the pattern are the same of the Smart parked outside...

35 years old? Must seem like an infant in Italy.
