This is the main train station of a transportation company that runs trains and buses through the Apulia and Basilicata regions. This station is located in the center of Bari and I think it's interesting that the tracks are raised. Below the tracks you see here on the right are shops and offices. I imagine they have noise and vibration issues!

It's hard to find an old train station anywhere that isn't visually interesting.

I'd have a headache at the end of the day if I worked in that lower level office!
Saretta. If there is a meter of cement or dirt in between, they will fill nothing or hear anything. Don't forget;the rail wheel ride on a smooth surface.
I'm sure the vendors and office workers are used to the noise and vibration from the trains above.
I'm taken with the lovely light on this station. Very nice. Regarding the vibration felt by those both above and below, we know that since Italian trains always run on tightly controlled time schedules, the office workers simply take numerous breaks coinciding with train arrival and departures. -:)

I find the building quite attractive and this is an excellent photo...I can't imagine, however, having train tracks above your store!

I didn't know that you got your own railway! This is a very peculiar train station for Italian standards, I have never seen here raised tracks like this here.
