Renault 4

An old car is parked on an even older street, Via Mammone, in Molfetta's historical center.
A "mammone" is a mommy's boy or also a sort of mythical monster. Not sure what they had in mind when they named the street...

I wish I could have one drive drive around EAGAN! I'd get lots of attention! Handsome "antique" car! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (early)!

One of my favorite cars of all time (only after perhaps the OLD cinquecento)!

Are you preparing for a dazzling Christmas among family and friends? I hope so.

Ciao

What a great specimen! Reminds me of a tiny Fiat I ran across in Sicily. Mammone seems to be a prevalent italiano trait -:))

My parents bought a similar car, a Renault Dauphine as a second car when we lived in Hawaii in the 1950's. It had a sun roof and we used to play in it and pretend it was a tank. It seemed more like a toy than a car.

Beauty of a photo! And that car looks to be really good shape! It's got to be old - it has real bumpers!
