Vittoria Facchini is a Molfettan artist and is pictured here in her studio. In addition to painting, she is also an illustrator of children's books and has published a few books of her own. One of these is an illustrated version of the traditional Molfettan Christmas song, the Santa Allegrezza, which was released in December. To see a couple of photos about that event, click here and here. In the photo above she was discussing her "Pin-Up" series, which is inspired by 1950's pin-up calendars.

I love the first photo of the artist beside her creation. Their poses complement each other and you captured it perfectly.
A nice portrait, a funny studio and a bunch of very interesting works.
Brava Vittoria! (and brava Saretta!)
she thinks before painting for my wall
The confusion of thought and studio and "things" brings back lots of memories. It looks like in her pinups she is striving to achieve some of the Japanese mime (or what ever it is called -- the big eyed people and kids).
It was a nice look back in time for me. Been there and did that a long time ago. Made enough money to buy momma more new shoes.
Thanks for featuring this. I love to see the way an artist looks at the world. It was fantastic to see her interpretation of the 50s pin up models.
vibrant paintings reflect her vibrant personality!
well captured!
I would like Vittoria very much based on what your have shown...and I like what I can see of her work very much.
So much talent and creativity.
She's a beautiful, very talented, artsy woman! And I'm so glad she didn't pose with a "leif hand" position!

Wow! An artist's studio would be so amazing to get into. the colors of course. Super shots.
Regarding the Eagles: They are quite easy to get close to because I don't think they are afraid. Of course I don't climb up a tree but get close as I can. they are so regal.
Thanks for the visit. MB
Nice shots. Like her art and your images.
«Louis» would like to see more of her work - what little we see here seems to have great energy!
Very nice postrait!
Lovely shots - does she have a website? I would love to buy one of her pieces, thanks.
